“100 Films 100 Posters” is an annual film poster exhibition that has been held since 2015 to celebrate JEONJU International Film Festival. For this event, 100 films are selected from the screenings of the year, and 100 graphic designers participate to create each film’s poster. The outputs are exhibited on streets and galleries during the festival.

Since the designers have maximum freedom throughout their creative process, free from any commercial pressure and visual clichés, the final posters created are often fresh, vivid, and sometimes surprisingly unfamiliar.

“100 Films 100 Posters” is a notable collaboration between the film industry and the graphic design community, which is growing into a unique event drawing passionate responses from audiences as well as filmmakers and designers.
